Born on November 25, 1955, at Guarda. He died on November 19, 2003, in Salamanca. Sculptor in stone and painter.
In the guard we find sculptures and paintings unaware of their authors. I decided to choose the author of the sculpture of the Alvaro Quintalo canon, who is next to the College of S. José.
In the 1970s, he exposed the first sculptures in the Guard. He emigrated to San Sebastian, worked on fishing but continued sculpting.
In the 1990s he dedicated himself entirely to his art.
Self -taught artist with 35 years of career, traveled by: Spain, France, Venezuela and South Africa, met cultures, materials and techniques that influenced their work.
Awarded in Portugal, Spain and France. He founded the “free art” - Association of Plastic Artists of Guarda, participated in 2002 in the first International Symposium on Stone Sculpture City of Salamanca, European Capital of Culture.
