Collection: João Garrido
João Garrido is a Portuguese painter living and working in the city of Porto.
He has studied in various art academies and ateliers in Portugal and Spain, such as the Atelier Madrid and the Barcelona Academy of Art, where he worked on developing his craft and understanding of the natural world and the human figure.
After his studies, he turned his attention to portraiture, and has since developed a large
body of work on the subject, a lot of which is composed of commissioned works.
