Luis Filipe de Abreu is one of the pioneering artists of the Coruchéus municipal studios. Born in Torres Novas in 1935, he graduated in painting at the Lisbon School of Fine Arts, in 1958, an institution where he was a teacher.
Alongside the full path, he developed a career in fields as diverse as painting, graphic design, illustration, stamps, notes, medalist, scenography, tapestry, tile panels and stained glass. From its vast artistic creation, the production of illustrations for Sacor, Petrogal or TAP, among others; the creation of logo and graphic symbols for Galp and IPPAR; The design of notes for Banco de Portugal; The illustration for publishers such as Bertrand, Sá da Costa, convergence and the creation of seals and medals.
