Rocío Romero García is a Spanish painter born in Huelva. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialization in painting from the Universities of Seville and Complutense of Madrid between 1986 and 1991. Her artistic journey has been marked by numerous awards, including the First Prize at the National Painting Competition for Novices in Gibraleón (Huelva) in 1988 and the First Prize at the Painting Competition of the City Council of Ayamonte in 1991.
Rocío has held various solo exhibitions throughout her career, such as at the Casa de la Cultura de Cartaya in 1993 and the Galería Passage in Ayamonte in 2017. She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including at the Museo de Huelva in 2019 and the Museo de Arte de Almería in 2022. Her works are part of permanent collections in institutions like the Casa Grande de Ayamonte and the Museo Casa Fabiola in Seville.
In addition to her artistic practice, Rocío has served as a painting instructor in various municipal schools and at the Fundación El Monte, demonstrating her commitment to art education. Her dedication to the arts and significant contributions to the cultural scene has established her as a prominent figure in contemporary Spanish painting.
