Collection: Ruslan Bielian

Ruslan Bielian was born in 1978 in Kyiv, Ukraine. He graduated from an art school in the city of Bila Tserkva and, in 2000, from Dragomanov National Pedagogical University with a degree in the humanities. He studied photography and has always loved painting. In his youth, he played in a rock band, and since 2017, he has been seriously dedicated to fine arts. His works have been exhibited in the WunjoArt Gallery, the "House of Pictures" gallery, and the art bar "Would You Like."

Due to the war in Ukraine, he now lives in Portugal with his family. In Portugal, his paintings have been exhibited at the Centro de Artes e Espectáculos, the Magenta Gallery, the Gallery of Victor Costa, among others.

His painting is based on an interaction with the world, as a way of admiring it. Through painting, the artist feels how the space around him is created and how beautifully and intricately everything in our existence is arranged.
