Menina Ao Piano

Menina ao Piano is an enchanting contemporary artwork that brings together music, femininity, and imagination in a richly layered visual narrative.

At the centre of the composition, an elegant female figure with flowing black hair appears suspended in a dreamlike world. Dressed in a delicate golden-yellow garment, she holds a geometric object reminiscent of an open book or a musical score, while a mysterious black cat rests beside her.

Vintage sheet music, handwritten fragments, botanical illustrations, and abstract textures intertwine throughout the composition, creating a fascinating dialogue between visual art and musical expression.

The woman's elongated silhouette and graceful posture evoke a sense of freedom and introspection. Her flowing hair merges with the surrounding darkness, punctuated by tiny white stars, suggesting a connection between the physical world and the infinite possibilities of imagination.

The carefully balanced palette of muted blues, warm golds, soft pinks, and deep blacks enhances the artwork's mysterious yet harmonious atmosphere. The incorporation of musical notation into the figure itself transforms the human body into a living expression of melody and rhythm.

Combining figurative illustration, collage, and symbolic storytelling, Menina ao Piano invites viewers to explore the relationship between music, memory, creativity, and the subconscious.

A distinctive statement piece for contemporary interiors, this artwork will particularly appeal to collectors who appreciate imaginative compositions, poetic symbolism, and the intersection of music and visual art.
