Maria João Justo (82 – Lisbon) developed a passion for painting after completing her degree in Art History. Her artistic journey is rooted in Realism and Figurative Art, utilizing techniques inspired by the Old Masters. She primarily works with mixed media, combining materials like oil, acrylic, and pencil, believing this approach allows her to create more complex and expressive artworks.
Constantly seeking new ways to unleash boundless creativity, she specializes in realistic painting and strives to transform clients' visions into captivating works of art. Through the skillful blending of diverse mediums, she creates complex and emotionally evocative pieces, capturing moments in time and exploring the dynamic relationship between the viewer and the artwork.
With works exhibited in several exhibitions and as the recipient of various painting awards, she is also a member of the International Guild of Realism.
