João Vasco was born in Lisbon in 1981, but he grew up in Sintra. Initially, he wanted to be a footballer, but at the age of 13, he bought his first architecture book and decided to become an architect. When he joined the arts group in secondary school in 1996, he began his creative activities in painting and drawing, which he continues to this day. In 2001, he moved to Lisbon to study architecture at Universidade Lusófona. Although he is an architect by profession, he finds his true creative outlet in painting and drawing. In recent years, his artistic activity has intensified, leading him to feel the need to start exhibiting his work.
