A dense, layered rainforest rendered in every shade of green, where sunlight filters through broad leaves, ferns and hanging vines. A blue morpho and an orange butterfly flutter at the heart of the scene, drawing the eye past a mossy trunk and a bright tropical plant into the depths of the foliage.
Under ultraviolet light the painting transforms completely: the greens give way to glowing violet, turquoise and magenta, and the jungle becomes a luminous night-time world. Two paintings in one, Jungle rewards the viewer by day and by night.
Details: Angie Hickson · 2026 · Acrylic on canvas · 60x80 cm · UV-reactive
